Is there time left for things besides dogs and work? Well, while I'd prefer if there were 48 hours in a day, the answer always seems to be yes (as long as you stop worrying about whether the house is clean). Besides just enjoying life, two other areas capture my interest. I am a technology nut and love experimenting with new gadgets, software programs and cameras. Computers have been a constant source of enjoyment since I was first introduced to a Macintosh many years ago and I now have the fun of playing with a super-powered G5:

Mac G5 My digital twisty-body Nikon is an all-time favorite but I recently added a lovely Canon SLR to my arsenal . With a new interest in creating dvds, my digital video camera has become an asset as well:video camera

One of my other main passions has been music. And technology has allowed me to stash stacks of CDs into my handy-dandy, little iPod (which really is a fantastic little invention that has lots of extras that enable you to make music a constant part of your life). Music vids can also be looked at any time, any place with this toy. And, while on my travels to shows and trials, I keep in touch via my iPhone. Yep, that's right, I embrace technology!

And to the surprise of many of my friends who had previously been exposed to my less-than-green thumb, I've recently found a new fascination in transforming the front of our property with plants. Here's one small part of the new landscape.
