| SureShot Majestic Consort - Philip has had a bit of an upheaval in his life but is now in his forever home with the MacLeans in California, where his marvelous attitude and personality, as well as an affinity for birds, was met with open arms. Philip was originally destined for the showring. Early on, he proudly sported two testicles <g>. Strangely at the age of 8 months, one of them started to atrophy (it appeared that the blood supply wasn't getting to it) and when we weren't able to solve this, he was left with one normal sized, and the other somewhat smaller than hazelnut-sized. That would have definitely posed problems in the showring. His future changed but, as you can see here, he's a pretty, pretty boy. Now, he can mostly be found on the lap of his doting owner, Glenn. Philip also sired a litter, which, one generation down, resulted in my lovely boy, Denham who will hopefully make up for his grandfather's lack of 'show time' confirming that things always seem to work out just fine. |
