Erin, Ch.Rokeena Downunder Delite, AgN, AgNS, AgIJS, NCC, O-NJC-V, TG-N-V, OAC, VADC, VSGDC - Erin was the surprise arrival at SureShot. Litter-sister to Swagger, I'd watched her early weeks through pictures and, although I loved her, my plans were to get Swagger. Shortly after Swagger's arrival, Robyn informed me that this girl that I'd been eyeing all along was now available. So, what could I do? Erin's trip didn't go quite as smoothly as Swagger's but she arrived, no worse for wear, tail wagging and ready to beat up on her brother. What a spectacular bitch! (I figure it's ok for me to say that since I didn't breed her.) In a single national specialty weekend, at the tender age of 9 months, Erin picked up the points for her Canadian Championship. We dabbled a bit showing her as a special and she quickly accumulated nine group placements, placing her as top Gordon bitch for 2002. Then we found Agility and got totally sidetracked. There's so much I could say about Erin but none of it would truly capture our relationship. Erin was my once-in-a-lifetime "heart dog". I miss her terribly and will always remember the bond we had. My beautiful, beautiful Erin... good-bye.
