Razz
Ch. SureShot Clansmen Jubilation, CD - His first time in the show ring, he won a Sporting Dog Puppy Group. He had numerous wins over dogs much more mature than he and quickly picked up his Canadian Championship while still a youngster.

Since he'd finished his Championship so young, I decided to fit in some obedience while he matured. At his first trial, he received his CD in three straight trials along with a 2nd in class. Although he'd been totally trained through to utility, we couldn't seem to put it all together at the trials. My own nervousness translates immediately to him; the disadvantage of being connected mentally to your dog.

Razz also ran a little hot and cold in the conformation ring. So, reluctantly, I finally contented myself with enjoying him on home turf rather than fret about it. Funny, I don't think Razz worried about that decision at all. Just over 12 years of age, Razz succumbed, on Christmas eve, to a heart problem he'd been dealing with for over a year. He left a hole in our lives but also in the life of his half-sister Piper who followed him a short few months later.
