Will, SureShot Crown Legacy. Will was my pick puppy of the second breeding of Blaze to Swagger and, for awhile, lived in the eastern US before he went, with his older brother Philip, to Minnesota while we were looking for homes for both of them. In retrospect, I should have just had him come back here but, unfortunately, decisions aren't made with a crystal ball. As he matured, plans for a show career were quickly made as he developed into a lovely physical specimen, matching the incredible temperament we already knew he had. Unfortunately, there was a set back when Will was stricken with Lyme disease. This made him very sore in the rear and he suffered a loss of muscle tone. With swimming and treadmill work, he picked up his first wins at the Fargo shows with back-to-back WD/BOW awards. Unfortunately, he continued to have days where he favoured his leg dealing with the aftermath of this awful disease. Although we were hopeful we'd have show win pictures to add to the ones we already have of him, it became increasingly likely that he'd never have the opportunity so I decided, reluctantly, to move him to this retired section.
